Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what data the Math Jet Heroes mobile app (“the App”, “we”, “our”) handles, why we handle it, and the choices you have. We have intentionally designed the App so that it does not collect personally identifiable information (PII). The information described below is limited to anonymous gameplay statistics, crash diagnostics, and metadata automatically gathered by third-party SDKs.
Effective Date: June 2, 2026
1. Summary
- We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, postal address, photographs, contacts, location (GPS), microphone audio, or any account credentials.
- We do not ask you to sign in. The App has no user accounts.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites. We do not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and we do not show the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt.
- We send a small amount of anonymous gameplay information to Google Firebase to understand how the game performs and to fix crashes.
- Advertisements are delivered by Google AdMob and follow Google’s standard privacy practices.
2. Data We Send to Firebase (Google)
The App uses three Firebase services.
2.1 Firebase Analytics — Gameplay events
Each event is anonymous, contains only the parameters listed, and is limited to non-personal gameplay information.
| Event | Parameters |
|---|---|
app_launch | app version |
app_foreground | (none) |
stage_start | stage number, language setting, number-display setting, weapon level |
stage_clear | stage number, score, enemies defeated, math answers (correct count, wrong count) |
boss_start | stage number, boss number |
boss_defeated | stage number, boss number, weapon level, fight duration (seconds) |
rewarded_ad_shown / rewarded_ad_started / rewarded_ad_completed | ad placement, reward type, whether reward was earned |
interstitial_shown | ad placement |
language_changed | new language setting |
numpad_changed | new number-display setting |
Math answers are sent as aggregate counts only. The questions themselves and your individual answers are never sent.
2.2 Firebase Crashlytics — Crash diagnostics
When the App crashes, Crashlytics uploads a crash report so we can fix bugs. Attached to each report:
- App version
- Current stage and boss number
- Current language and number-display setting
- Whether ads are currently being shown
- The name of the last gameplay event that occurred before the crash
- Whether the “Remove Ads” in-app purchase is active
- Device model, OS version, available memory, available disk space, screen orientation
- The crash stack trace itself
No personal information is included.
2.3 Firebase Remote Config — Read-only
The App downloads configuration values from Firebase (such as the maximum number of bonus enemies to spawn). This is a one-way read; nothing about you is uploaded by Remote Config.
2.4 Automatic metadata collected by the Firebase SDK
Firebase automatically collects a small amount of metadata that we do not configure manually:
- An App Instance ID — a random, anonymous identifier scoped to this App on your device. You can reset it from the iOS Settings.
- Device model, operating system version, screen resolution, system language and country (from the device locale).
- App version and install time.
- IP address — used only to estimate a general region (typically country/state level) for analytics aggregation. Firebase anonymizes IP addresses by default.
- Standard automatic events such as
first_openandsession_start.
Google processes this data under Google’s Privacy & Terms and the Firebase Data Privacy and Security documentation.
3. Data We Do Not Collect
To be explicit, the App does not collect or transmit any of the following:
- Real name, email address, phone number, mailing address
- Photographs, contacts, calendars, files
- Precise location (GPS), Wi-Fi or Bluetooth signal data
- Microphone, camera, or screen-recording data
- Advertising Identifier (IDFA / GAID) — we do not request tracking permission
- Health, financial, or biometric data
- Login credentials or social network identifiers
- The text of math problems or your individual answers
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App displays interstitial and rewarded video ads served by Google AdMob.
- Ads are configured as non-personalized by default. We do not enable behavioral profiling.
- AdMob is configured with
tagForChildDirectedTreatment = falseand a maximum content rating of Parental Guidance, intended for audiences aged 13 and over. - Because the App does not request the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission and does not access the Advertising Identifier (IDFA), AdMob falls back to non-personalized ad delivery on iOS.
- If you do not want to see ads, you can purchase the one-time “Remove Ads” in-app product. After purchase, no interstitial or rewarded ads are shown.
- Google’s ad data handling is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and Google’s policies for users in the European Economic Area.
5. In-App Purchases (Apple App Store)
Purchases of the “Remove Ads” item are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your Apple ID, payment card, or billing address — we only learn that the purchase entitlement is active so we can stop showing ads.
6. How We Use the Information
- Improve the game. Aggregate event counts help us understand which stages are too easy or too hard, which languages are most used, and which features are most popular.
- Fix crashes. Crash reports tell us where the game fails so we can release stability updates.
- Adjust live tuning values. Remote Config lets us change a small number of balance parameters without releasing a new app version.
- Show non-personalized ads (unless you have purchased “Remove Ads”).
We do not use the information for advertising profiling, for selling to data brokers, or for any purpose other than operating and improving the App.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is processed by:
- Google LLC (Firebase, AdMob) — analytics, crash reporting, ad delivery.
- Apple Inc. (App Store) — purchase processing.
These providers act as data processors under their own privacy policies linked above.
8. Children’s Privacy
The App is intended for users aged 13 and over.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
- The App is not enrolled in Apple’s “Made for Kids” or Google Play’s “Designed for Families” programs.
- Ads are configured with content rating “Parental Guidance” and behavioral profiling is disabled.
If you are a parent or guardian and you believe your child under 13 has used the App, please contact us at tomozoo.inc@gmail.com and we will help.
9. Your Rights and Choices
- Reset the anonymous identifier. On iOS, you can reset the App Instance ID by deleting and reinstalling the App, or by resetting the device’s advertising identifier in Settings (this also affects Firebase identifiers).
- Opt out of analytics. You can prevent further analytics collection by uninstalling the App.
- Request deletion. If you would like us to delete any data associated with your device’s anonymous identifier, contact tomozoo.inc@gmail.com with a description of when you used the App. We will request deletion from Firebase within 30 days.
- Region-specific rights. If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, California, or another region with a privacy law, you may have additional rights (access, rectification, deletion, portability). Contact us using the address below to exercise these rights.
10. Data Retention
- Analytics events: retained by Firebase Analytics for a default of 14 months, after which they are aggregated or deleted.
- Crash reports: retained by Firebase Crashlytics for 90 days.
- Remote Config: stateless — no data about you is stored.
- In-app purchase status: stored only on your device and on Apple’s servers.
11. Data Security
We use industry-standard transport encryption (HTTPS / TLS) for all data sent from the App to Firebase, AdMob, and the App Store. Crash reports and analytics events are stored on Google’s infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage on the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
12. International Data Transfers
The data described above may be processed by Google and Apple on servers located outside your country, including in the United States. Google and Apple maintain Standard Contractual Clauses and other safeguards for transfers from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and other regulated regions.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top and, for material changes, mention the update in the App’s release notes.
